Ashley Tetens MD/PhD student
Ashley joined the lab during her freshman year in college in 2018. She graduated from Johns Hopkins in 2021 with a primary degree in Molecular Biology and a secondary degree in Africana Studies. She is currently entering her second year in the MD/PhD program at Johns Hopkins. Ashley has been interested in “curing all the cancers” since age 8 and is also passionate about health disparities and racial inequities in medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys climbing, hiking, traveling, reading, dancing, doing pilates, and playing chess.
